volume of drops (milliliters)
« on: September 28, 2007, 02:18:55 PM »
I am having some trouble with a pre-lab. I am not looking for answers so much as I am looking for how to do the calculation. Is there a formula, how should i go about solving this? Thanks so much.

In the tip of a pipet there are approximately 25 drops per milliliter of water. What is te approximate volume (mL) of one drop of aqueous solution?

A micropipet delivers 153 drops of alcohol for each millilter. Calculate the volume (in mL) of aclcohol in each drop.

please nevermind this post. I just figured it out. I think I was dealing with too many new things and new equations that I forgot how to do simple math. A bit overwhelmed I guess :o

Thanks a lot though!
