ICP Trouble-shooting

I work with an ICP-OES (Thermo iCAP 6000). What are the common problems experienced with this type of ICP and what troubleshooting techniques are used? ???

What problems are you having?  I have an iCAP 6500.  Haven't had many problems with the instrument itself, but the software has given me trouble on occasion.
