Activation energy vs temperature
« on: April 15, 2010, 11:31:21 AM »
One of the question in my lab is " what is the relationship between temperature and activation energy?"    My answer was that they were independent of each other since temperature does not change the pathway of the reaction only a catalyis changes the Ea. However my TA says that there is an indirect relationship. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks

From where do you get the energy to reach the Ea and make the reaction take place?
