Sodium lactate determination
« on: April 28, 2010, 09:26:33 PM »
Why doe's only conductometric titrimetry appear as reliable method to measure amount of sodium lactate?

All I know that potentiometric titrimetry and titrimetry in aquatic environment don't 'work' in this case at all.

(sorry if I make language mistakes but I'm not english-speaking...

I'll be grateful for help.

Try to sketch titration curves (both pH and conductometric).

I don't have practical exercises so I don't have any results. It's theoretical. I can't find any sources where that would be explained.

What's wondering titrimetry in non-aquatic environment does work.

You should be able to sketch these curves just by knowing properties of the solution and ions involved.

chemistry is not my good side... brainlessness doesn't help as well... :-[
Please, give me simple answer - lack of time doesn't give me a chance to think about it little bit dipper...
