when i was carrying out chloride titration when i add the chromate indicator the color appeared is not yellow as what it must appear but yellow closer to orange so when i add the AgNO3 reagent the end point like ghost so i cant detect it clearly !!!!!
do any body know what is that (what is the source of that error , how can i avoid it ?

Are you using chromate or dichromate? If it is orange, try adding a small amount of sodium hydroxide to see if it goes yellow.
