Adding nitric acid to barium phosphate

I understand that adding nitric acid to barium phosphate dissolves the precipitate formed from a sodium phosphate solution that is mixed with barium chloride. However I am having trouble balancing the equation. According to the phosphate reaction guidelines, no gas evolves. Is that incorrect?

What I have so far:

Ba3(PO4)2 + H+  :rarrow: 3 Ba2+ + 2PO43- + H2O

I realize this isn't balanced but I'm having trouble understanding this reaction.

EDIT: Just tried to do some more research and came up with this equation:

Ba3(PO4)2 + 6HNO3  :rarrow: 3Ba(NO3)2 + 2H3PO4

Can someone confirm that this is correct?

More or less this will happen.

What about BaHPO4. Check the solubility.
