increase effectiveness ?
« on: December 13, 2012, 12:26:49 AM »
If a mixture of bleach, acetone , and hydrogen peroxide (500ml each) is being used to get rid of something, does anyone know what could be added to make the mixture more effective ??

Yeah, gentle heating.  With emphasis on the gentle.  Briefly sonicating the part in the mixture could be helpful.  With emphasis on the briefly.  As you expose the mixture to energy, in the form of heat and ultrasound, you will decompose the bleach and peroxide.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

Thank you both...basically the mixture starts to work (cleaning) but eventually damages the object before what needs to be removed is gone. I know this is a little vague...say "X" is on "Y" and I want to remove "X"....the mixture starts to remove "X" but damages "Y" before "X" is completely gone
