(i didn't see anyone else ask this...) i have an exam, so i figured i should work random problems; i came across these questions at this site:http://www.ochem4free.com/pdf/03-Conform.pdf (please see page 7 of the document, it's labeled as 127

how do you name a molecule given its newman projection?

There is no difference in the molecule using different projections. IUPAC name is not affected.

If you are not familiar with Newman projection, just figure out a saw-horse projection or others which you are familiar with. Make sure that you get the configuration and stereochemistry of the molecule correctly after convertion, then, name it.
