Bio-Organic Chemistry as Organic Chem. II?
« on: December 01, 2013, 03:14:46 AM »
My university offers Foundations of Organic Chemistry and Foundations of Bio-Organic Chemistry. There is no Organic Chemistry II. The med school I'm looking at requires two semesters of Organic. Would taking Organic and Bio-Organic satisfy this requirement? Thanks.

The only place you can get the sure answer is your med school, why do you think some random strangers on internet will be able to help?

What type of college doesn't offer a second semester of organic chemistry?

This could be interesting and legitimate if it were taught by a real organic chemist with a background in biochemistry.

In reality it's probably a sham class designed by and for biologists, or at least designed by a chemist who was forced to severely dumb it down.
