Trans esterification

Trying to convert methyl ester to propyl ester using H2SO4 in n-propanol, but failed. SM only remains, any suggestions

more acid, longer time, or catalytic pathway. There are lots of catalysts besides hydrogen.  Can you search and find them?

You could also try basic conditions: propoxide in propanol.
