please help me out here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well i am not a chemist or know anything about chemistry but in my search i found this site.  I need an answer to this     CuAI6(PO4)4(OH)8*4H20    what color is this chemisrty make up?  I used a * before the 4H20 thier is a dot that is about in the middle of it i do not know how to get that dot so i used the * instead.

You're in luck! This is one of my areas of study. That is the formula of the mineral turquoise, which ranges in colour from green to brilliant blue. As a guide, most secondary Cu2+ compounds are either blue or green.

Turquoise tends to be green if a content of iron is pretty big.

Substitution in the structure of chromium will also give a green colour
