Noob needs some help here.
I would like to make a DIY minoxidil solution for my hair.
I've got 1kg of 99% Minoxidil powder sitting@home along with 16 oz of 99% DMSO.
For those of you familiar with topical Minoxidil as a hair loss treatment, you wil know what most of the strength out there are 2%-5%, with the highest being 15%, which are mainy based on several co-solvents- namely ethanol, PG and distilled H2O.
I would like to know what is the maximum amount of minoxidil that I can add into the 100ml solution of DMSO to ensure total solubility and if gentle heating is safe.
Thanks alot to those who can answer my question.
